Associate Professor at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano with a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Energy Engineering. Author of more than 50 papers on international journals and conference proceedings. Since several years teaching ”Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer” to undergraduate students. He holds a professional experience in international companies like Siemens and Alstom Power. He also stayed several years at the Institute of Nuclear and Energy Technologies of KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology).
The research activity is mainly focused on Computational fluid Dynamics (CFD), turbulence modeling and heat transfer in general. CFD is used to analyze both technically relevant cases for the industry as well as to gain a deeper understanding of base-physical problems.
